Administration Office
The Administration Office provides students with such services as issuing certificates and permits for using the institute facilities as well as processing class registration. The carrier development services are available in the office. The office also offers students part-time job information. A counseling room on the first floor provides students with psychological care and support. Individual counseling and consultation are available in the counseling room.
Library
The library has more than 25,000 books and magazines as of April 2004 and continues to expand its collection. It has 130 seats for reading and studying, on-line catalogue search terminals and a multi-media room.
M Building (Department of Manufacturing)
M building has many training labs and classrooms on the first floor. Students can study theories and have practical training at the same time. Locker rooms with showers are also on the first floor for students to change clothes for such training sessions as cutting, grinding, casting, welding and designing. The building has computer and CAD/CAM labs with up-to-date technologies. The labs are available to students when not used for class. Professors' offices and research labs are located on the second and third floors
B Building (Department of Building)
On the first floor, B Building has training labs with a height that allows a two-story house to be built. Designed as multi-purpose areas, the training labs are used for class sessions and projects as well as for joint projects with other organizations. A computer lab and drafting room are available to students when not used for class. Professors' offices and research labs are located on the second and third floors.
Central Building
Central Building is a three-story building built in April 2003. It has ten classrooms accommodating up to 72 people and two large classrooms for up to 200 people. The Monotsukuri Research Information Center is located on the third floor.
Institute Hall
The Institute Hall provides areas to take a break, and to talk and relax with friends. The cafeteria on the first floor is open not only during daytime but also during morning and evening hours. A mini-store on the second floor carries books, stationery, snacks and more.
Dormitory
The dormitory accommodates up to 200 students. A monthly dormitory fee of 31,500 yen includes all utilities (1,500 yen) except phone. Each room is equipped with a bus-toilet unit, air conditioning, a bed, desk and chair.
Gymnasium
The gym is used as a multi-purpose center for the institute's ceremonies and festivals. Some clubrooms for students' club activities are located on the second floor.
Outdoor Sport Facilities
There is a full-size soccer field and three tennis courts on campus.
Outdoor Training Areas
The Department of Building Technologists uses the training areas for simulating actual construction sites to give students experience in building a full-size houseThe Department of Manufacturing Technologists uses the areas to support such student challenges as solar car projects, hot air balloon projects and radio control glider projects.
Parking Areas
Many parking spaces are available for bicycles, motorcycles and automobiles. Students need to obtain a parking permit for a car or a motorcycle as of May 2003.
