「ことば」を「文化的価値観・社会・人間の認知」の視点から包括的に考える立場で、英語と日本語を比較する研究をしてきました。研究で明らかになったことを英語教育に役立てたいと思っています。 学生の皆さんも、将来企業等で働く際、専門の技能・知識以外に英語をツールとして使用できると可能性が広がります。　授業では、語学的な習得だけではなく、異文化を知り、英語でコミュニケーションができる楽しさを知ってほしいと思います。
