温泥小屋プロジェクト

このプロジェクトは、ますいいリビングカンパニーの若手スタッフと、増井真也研究室の第1期生の協働で行う、長野県の原村にある約1000平米の敷地に、小さなサウナ小屋を作る計画である。
通常の社会における仕事として建築をつくる時、僕たちに経済、施工精度などのから逃れる自由はない。でも素人仕事では、そういう束縛から逃れて建築をつくる自由がある。
このプロジェクトでは、工業製品は使わない。
このプロジェクトでは、今の自分たちが手に入り易いものを使用する。
このプロジェクトでは、木・土・石などの自然の産物を使用して小屋を作る。
このプロジェクトでは、ドアノブや照明器具なども自分たちで作る。
出来上がった小屋は、購入者のセルフビルドを前提に希望者からの注文を受け付ける。僕たちは、それを少しだけお手伝いさせていただくだろう。

This project is a collaborative effort between young staff members at Masui Living Company and the first cohort of students from Shinya Masui’s research lab to build a small sauna cabin on a roughly 1,000-square-meter site in Hara Village, Nagano Prefecture.
When we design buildings as part of our regular professional work, we have no freedom to escape constraints such as economic considerations and construction precision. However, when working as amateurs, we have the freedom to create architecture free from such constraints.
In this project, we will not use any manufactured products.
In this project, we will use materials that are readily available to us right now.
In this project, we will build the cabin using natural materials such as wood, earth, and stone.
In this project, we will even make our own door handles and lighting fixtures.We will accept orders from interested buyers on the premise that they will assemble the finished cabin themselves. We will be there to offer a little assistance along the way.
