About our Laboratory
26年に渡る工務店機能を兼ね備える設計事務所の運営を経て、2026年4月より建築生産と構法の研究および、建築の設計施工を通して、これからの建築のつくりかたを考えるため、増井研究室をスタートしました。
私たちには、これまでに培った土壁や漆喰の左官壁や、森とつながる家づくり、数々のリノベーションに関する経験と見識があります。そこで、左官論、森と建築論、建築の再生論、持続するものつくり企業論の４つの研究テーマを軸に活動します。
After 26 years of running an architectural firm that also served as a general contractor, we launched the Masui Laboratory in April 2026 to explore the future of architectural construction through research into building production and construction methods, as well as through the design and construction of buildings.
We have accumulated extensive experience and expertise in earthen walls, plaster walls, building homes that connect with the forest, and numerous renovation projects. Based on this foundation, our activities will center on four research themes: the theory of plastering, the relationship between forests and architecture, the theory of architectural regeneration, and the theory of sustainable manufacturing enterprises.
